About Ardal Labs
Welcome to Ardal Labs.
This is my corner of the internet where I document what I build, break, and learn while running my homelab and tinkering with infrastructure.
I’m Kurt, a tech enthusiast with a soft spot for servers, virtualization, networking, and self-hosting. What started as “just testing something at home” slowly turned into racks, switches, firewalls, Proxmox clusters, automation, and way too many late nights debugging things that probably worked fine before I touched them.
Here you’ll find:
- Proxmox setups and experiments
- Homelab builds and architecture
- Sysadmin tips and troubleshooting
- Self-hosting and open source tools
- Notes-to-self that might save you time too
Most posts are practical and hands-on — less theory, more “here’s what I did and what actually worked”.
If you enjoy homelabs, infrastructure, and learning by doing, you’ll probably feel at home here.have to.
